Yogyakarta 5 Days Tour No Temples

Day 1

Be picked up from Yogyakarta International Airport. Our driver will be waiting for you at the arrival gate and bring a sign with your name on it. Proceed straight to Kalibiru National Park. Here you can enjoy the view of the largest lake in Yogyakarta called Waduk Sermo, take some unique photos at the platforms on the trees, safety with equipment and instructors. Proceed to Yogyakarta city for hotel drop off. Check in hotel.

Day 2

Picked up early at 03.30 am from your hotel in Yogyakarta to go to Mount Merapi Volcano. Enjoy the safari Jeep tour of the Mt. Merapi Volcano and the natural scenery as the Jeep takes you to the nearest distance where you can see the volcano. Witness the sunrise from this view point, the closest to the peak the Jeep can go. Finish the safari tour as your Jeep driver will guide you to a lava river where the Jeep can navigate, allowing for an exciting off-road adventure. Savor the journey on the river as you may get splashed by the water. Afterwards, our driver will take you to Gunung Kidul area, about 1,5 hrs drive from Merapi. Experience a unique activity of body rafting tubing at Pindul Cave. Float through the cave’s crystal-clear waters, marvel the majestic stalactites and stalagmites inside the cave. Next, conquer Oyo River’s gentle currents with body rafting, navigating through picturesque landscapes and serene waters. This relaxing yet thrilling experience provides breathtaking views of Yogyakarta’s countryside. Afterwards, our driver will take you to Timang Beach, Yogyakarta’s stunning coastline, beckons adventure-seekers and nature lovers. It will be about 1 hour drive from Pindul cave. Once you arrived at the Timang area, you will use a jeep as a shuttle to go to the beach, enjoy the semi off-road bumpy ride as the jeep takes you there. On the beach you can cross to a rocky island in the middle of the sea. You can choose whether you will use the iconic wooden gondola or an unique wooden bridge.

Afterwards, sit back and relax as your driver escort you back to your hotel in Yogyakarta. It will be around 2 hours drive to get back to Yogyakarta.

Day 3

Picked up early at 03.30 am from your hotel in Yogyakarta to go to Setumbu Hills. Light trekking about 300m long to go to the viewpoint. Witness the beautiful sunrise from this point, here you can also see Borobudur Temple from distance. Next, go to Chicken Church, not a real church, a unique building shaped like a pigeon on the hill dedicated for relax and meditation. Next, Swargabhumi, a terraces rice field designed for visitors to capture some unique photos inside. Proceed to Kedung Kayang Waterfall, it will be about 1 hour drive. Trek through the path down to the waterfall, feel the nature vibe and the freshness at the waterfall. Afterwards, sit back and relax as your driver escort you back to your hotel in Yogyakarta. It will be around 2 hours drive to get back to Yogyakarta.

Day 4

Be picked up in the morning from your hotel in Yogyakarta to go to Kulon Progo district, it will be around 1,5 hours drive to go to Sungai Mudal. Enjoy the scenic drive as your driver will take you going uphill. Sungai Mudal Ecotourism offer an authentic vibe of being in the nature, up on the hill you can enjoy a terraces waterfall, you can also swim at the natural swimming pool at the bottom of the river. Afterwards, back to Yogyakarta city, you can also explore the iconic Malioboro street if you want to. From Yogyakarta, we go to the south beach of Yogyakarta, Parangtritis beach, about 1 hour drive. From the beach, we go uphill to go to Obelix Seaview, this place has the best view for the sunset. At Obelix Seaview you can find many vendors selling food, snacks and sometimes live music. Day 5
